Job Summary: As a Wash Bay Attendant atAcura Sherway, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of both customer and showroom vehicles. You will assist with washing, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles, support vehicle movement and coordination within the service and showroom areas, and ensure all areas are safe, clean, and organized. This role includes supporting parts handling, vehicle drop-offs and pickups, and contributing to a positive customer experience by helping the dealership maintain its high standards of vehicle presentation and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of service, sales, and showroom areas.
• Assist with washing, vacuuming, and detailing customer, service, and display vehicles.
• Move, fuel, and retrieve vehicles as needed, including coordination with third-party service providers.
• Prepare vehicles for customer use, including test drives and showroom/display presentation.
• Handle parts, tires, and other shop-related materials as required.
• Perform seasonal and facility maintenance tasks (e.g., snow/ice removal, exterior signage installation).
• Report any vehicle damage or issues to management and support vehicle swaps as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support dealership operations and maintain high presentation standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class G Ontario driver’s license
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Hours:

• Full-time, permanent position, up to 44 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (worked on an alternating basis; schedule includes 5 shifts per week)

Working Conditions:

• Frequent standing for extended periods
• Ability to handle moderately heavy items
• Fast-paced environment requiring multi-tasking and adaptability
• Exposure to noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and temperature variations
• Frequent interaction with managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, and other department
• Work governed by concurrent and dynamic deadlines with frequent interruptions
