About the role

Who you are

  • Strong alignment with our values (find our values on our career page if you haven’t read up on them yet)
  • You are proficient in English (spoken, written, and reading) at a CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5
  • Deep expertise with JavaScript and React, especially at the architectural level
  • A strong track record of improving performance and reliability in modern front-end applications
  • 5+ years of experience in a front-end engineering role, ideally with experience owning or modernizing large codebases
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, fully remote environment
  • Experience building internal component libraries or design systems
  • Experience with server-side rendering, code splitting, or other performance optimization techniques

What the job involves

  • We're scaling quickly, and the front-end infrastructure that powers our product needs to scale with it
  • We're hiring a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our Infra team and take ownership of our front-end stack — keeping it modern, fast, and reliable
  • You’ll lead efforts to upgrade React, optimize performance, and build reusable tools that help our product team move faster
  • Maintain and modernize our front-end stack, including React upgrades and performance improvements
  • Build internal front-end tools, component libraries, and SDKs to improve developer experience and consistency
  • Partner with back-end and SRE engineers to support observability, performance, and scaling efforts
  • Identify opportunities to reduce third-party dependencies through in-house solutions
  • Contribute to architectural decisions that improve speed, usability, and maintainability of our UI
