We are currently seeking a Central Billing Manager to join our team, ideally based in Ontario or Atlantic Canada.
The Central Billing Manager oversees the centralized billing operations for all insurance and funding programs across the Resolve network. This role is responsible for managing private insurance and governmental billing, including claim submission, adjudication follow-up, documentation compliance, denials/appeals, collections, and coordination across all provinces and territories. The role also oversees funding program submissions such as the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) in Ontario, provincial respiratory funding programs where applicable, and manufacturer documentation requirements.
The ideal candidate has demonstrable success with Canadian payer processes, strong change leadership capabilities, and expertise in insurance documentation, eligibility, benefit coverage, and funding program rules.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead a national team of insurance billers, funding coordinators, and AR specialists
- Standardize billing processes, claims submission, and provincial funding workflows.
- Manage private insurance claims and government funding programs (ADP, provincial programs).
- Oversee denials, underpayments, appeals, and collections.
- Ensure compliance, revenue integrity, and accurate reporting.
- Monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with clinical and finance teams to ensure accurate documentation and cash flow.
What you bring:
- 5–7+ years in Canadian healthcare billing, insurance adjudication, or revenue operations.
- 3+ years leading a centralized billing or revenue cycle team.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian private insurance plans and provincial funding programs.
- Experience with CPAP or Oxygen therapy billing is an asset.
- Skilled with billing systems, insurer portals, Excel/Power BI.
- Financial acumen, process improvement mindset, and excellent communication skills.
