Role Description
Your Role:
To provide strategic analysis, financial planning, and commercial support that optimize revenue, enhance market competitiveness, and enable informed decision-making, while ensuring effective contract management, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to drive LEO Pharma’s business performance and patient-focused outcomes.
This is a hybrid role, based out of LEO’s downtown Toronto office.
Your Responsibilities:

Contribute to strategic pricing proposals and analysis of Hospital/Retail opportunities
-
Attend and contribute to commercial business reviews with key accounts
-
Liase with RBDM, SCM, and Management team to plan for successful contract implementations or changes.

Develop models for RFP’s for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and unique hospitals/hospital networks, to ensure revenue optimization and product profitability for all divisional LEO Pharma business products.

Partner with the business to implement dynamic planning principles.
-
Use Dynamic planning principles to anticipate future performance development and work with brand leads to identify underlying levers and develop strategies to address.

Streamline the planning process and create forecasting tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial forecasting and budgeting

Be a key resource and “go to person” for information, training & development of planning/forecasting process and systems
-
Co-ordinate timely and accurate submission of key forecasts to the global team
-
Update planning systems and ensure accuracy of Net Sales forecasts and expense budgets
-
Prepare analyses on discounts and deductions to ensure accuracy of deductions forecasts
-
Prepare presentations and analyses for Performance Reviews and forecast submissions
-
Support Commercial Leadership Team with business analysis, reports and insights to provide pro-active business decision support and steer business performance

Meet with key strategic members to discuss their financial results, understand things that are happening in their area, and advise on financial matters

Provide value-added reporting including mix analysis and develop ad hoc analysis to facilitate timely decision making to support business performance
-
Provide assistance to Business Unit Director in developing marketing materials to be leverage by field force
-
Analyze outcomes of Patient Support Programs – trends, usage and market dynamics
-
Recognize that PV cases may come to your knowledge in this role and fulfil the responsibility to forward any adverse event and patient safety cases to the local Pharmacovigilance department in accordance with company policies
Your Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
-
3–5 years’ experience in a finance role; accounting designation in Canada (or working towards).
-
Sound knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical environment including experience with RFP process preferred.
-
SAP experience preferred
-
Strong technical, analytical, and numerical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
-
Project management experience and problem-solving ability with innovative thinking.
-
Knowledge of consumer healthcare industry is an asset.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively with senior management.
-
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with integrity and confidentiality.
The base salary range for this position is $130,000- $160,000 CAD per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
