About the role
Description Summary of the role: Your role as a Manager is to lead the growth of select partnerships with Global Payments. Partnerships play a critical role to the growth and development of our revenue and market share; you will work closely with your manager to devise a growth strategy and execute through several direct report
relationship managers. These partnerships will include, but not limited to, some of Global Payments’ key financial institutions (banks, co-operatives and credit unions), non-integrated partnerships, such as associations micro-ISO’s and independent referral partners. You will then run scheduled monthly and/or
quarterly business reviews and appointments, uncover needs, and present GPC solutions that contribute to closing sales in our target geographic and vertical markets (restaurants, retail, medical, lodging, auto repair, salons, etc.). You will also assist and coach your team of Relationship Managers to excellence in collaborative contract management through side-by side & remote coaching. Lastly, you will be responsible for curating and delivering on a plan to expand on new partnerships annually.
Salary Range - $90,000 - $110,000
What you will do:
- Prospecting for and running dynamic partnership sales presentations
- Explaining our value proposition to new and existing clients
- Closing partnership contracts of our payment processing services
- Educating partners, and at times, merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry
- Maintaining regular communication with your Manager
- Delivering Quarterly business reviews to the Canadian Executive team
- Training and coaching Relationship Managers that report to you
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree, with focus on Business, Sales or Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B Sales experience
- Relevant people management experience in a sales/support environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Proven success record to overachieve assigned sales metrics
- Strong cold calling and presentation sales skills
- Strong financial literacy and competency to curate and deliver business cases for new or renewed/retained partnerships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be a highly organized, focused individual who excels in relationship building, which is critical to the success of this position.
- Professional, driven, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills is a must to succeed in this role.
- Previous experience in the payment processing industry is valued
