Billing Analyst II (Bilingual: English / French)

About the Position: The Billing Analyst II serves as a critical liaison between sales, operations, and customers, ensuring seamless revenue cycle management for Cologix's clients. This role combines technical billing expertise with exceptional customer relationship management to drive accurate order processing, timely revenue recognition, and optimal payment outcomes. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex commercial terms, manage custom billing requirements, and resolve disputes while maintaining strong cross-functional partnerships. Success in this role directly impacts customer satisfaction, cash flow, and revenue accuracy for multimillion-dollar accounts across Cologix's data center portfolio.
What you do daily:
- Partners with sales, customer care, IT, accounting and customers to ensure sales opportunities flow through Company systems and processes accurately and completely
- Works effectively with customers to identify their billing requirements for new sales opportunities and enters orders in alignment with their requirements
- Ensures custom billing and commercial terms are entered accurately and completely on orders and reviews lease amortization schedules to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Processes monthly billing and performs first-bill reviews with customers to ensure their billing requirements are met and adjusted as needed
- Enters / interfaces bills into customer designated portals and works with customers to ensure purchase orders are in place and customers pay timely
- Develop effective partnering relationships with customers to understand their processes to ensure their purchase orders are in place, are reflected on bills correctly, and customer pays timely in accordance with contractual terms.
- Responds to customer, and internal customer, questions, disputes, timely and effectively
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
- Ability to clearly communicate in both English and French Canadian fluently
- 3+ years’ Billing and Collection experience working with multimillion dollar companies
- Must be currently residing in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree in areas most relevant to position, such as finance and/or accounting
- Displays a sense of urgency and a passion for providing excellent customer service
- Drives for results; ensures performance goals including timely, accurate and complete order entry, billing and revenue recognition, timely payments and high customer relationship scores are met
- Expert / Strong systems technical skills in tools such as Zone Billing, Netsuite and Excel
- Expert knowledge of company end-to-end processes and systems relating to ordering, billing and revenue recognition
- Excellent customer service, partnering and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Builds strong relationships across organization, creates an environment in which people communicate honestly and openly, and information is readily shared
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations and challenges
- Detail oriented with proven accuracy
