Development Accountant | CPA Pre-Approved Program Route
About the role
As a Pre-Approved program route for Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), Mosaic offers you the opportunity to pursue your CPA designation while working in a real estate development company.
While studying for your CPA at Mosaic, you will receive mentorship, guidance, and support from our team of designated CPAs.
Your development program is designed to expand your understanding of the real estate industry and provide the training and knowledge needed to fulfill your CPA practical experience requirements. You will develop relationships, learn about real estate development, and assist with various special projects providing you exposure to multiple teams within the organization. Over time as you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to work with corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and tax teams.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with accurate and timely reporting on projects. Your duties will cover a wide range of tasks including project budget maintenance, monthly construction draws, monthly account reconciliations, assistance with project entity accounting and financial reporting, assistance with project tax compliance and other reporting tasks as needed.
This is an in-office role located in our Vancouver office with great mentors and room to grow.

Who You Are
You have an undergraduate degree, preferably with a double major in real estate and accounting with an intention to enroll in the CPA PEP program upon graduation.
