About Champak Champak is one of India’s most loved children’s brands, inspiring generations through stories, puzzles, knowledge, and values. As we expand our digital presence, we are looking for a Social Media Copywriter who can translate Champak’s legacy into sharp, modern, and engaging digital communication while remaining sensitive to children and parents.

Role Overview The Social Media Copywriter will be responsible for crafting high-impact copy across Champak’s social media platforms. This includes writing hooks, captions, campaign lines, scripts, and CTAs that strengthen brand recall, drive engagement, and support marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Copywriting

  • Write engaging, crisp, and brand-aligned copy for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
  • Create strong hooks, captions, reel/video scripts, headlines, and CTAs.
  • Adapt tone and messaging for children, parents, and educators, while maintaining brand safety.

Campaign & Brand Communication

  • Write copy for brand campaigns, contests, launches, and special initiatives.
  • Support paid and organic social campaigns with persuasive copy.
  • Contribute to brand taglines, recurring series names, and campaign messaging.

Brand Voice & Consistency

  • Maintain Champak’s warm, playful, trustworthy, and child-friendly voice.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across platforms and formats.
  • Follow brand guidelines and editorial standards strictly.

Content Ideation & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with designers and social media managers to ideate content concepts.
  • Translate magazine stories, characters, puzzles, and themes into digital-first copy.
  • Participate in content calendar planning and brainstorming sessions.

Editing & Quality Control

  • Proofread all copies for grammar, clarity, and tone.
  • Ensure cultural sensitivity, age appropriateness, and factual accuracy.
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and manage revisions efficiently.

Performance Awareness

  • Understand basic social media metrics such as engagement, reach, saves, and clicks.
  • Optimize copy based on what works and audience response.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related fields.
  • 2–5 years of experience in social media copywriting, digital content, or brand communication.
  • Excellent command of English; working knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, formats, and trends.
  • Ability to write short-form, impactful copy that drives action.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Experience with children’s brands, education or publishing is an advantage.

  • A strong sense of brand voice and storytelling.
  • Can balance creativity with responsibility in child-centric communication.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, campaign-driven environments.
  • Collaborative, curious, and proactive.
