This role leads two core functions: Risk Management Business Systems and Acquisition Client Onboarding. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for internal risk systems, ensure compliance with firm and regulatory policies, and manage onboarding of client entity data during acquisitions.

What you will do

Risk Management Business Systems Lead

  • Main point of contact for internal risk systems queries; respond and resolve requests
  • Administer KPMG proprietary systems to facilitate compliance with firm and regulatory policies
  • Develop and maintain Q&RM Online ServiceNow tickets; create, update, and track requests
  • Partner with the RM Online Lead to ensure policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Stay current on policy/procedure updates; identify trends, solve problems, and advise stakeholders
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, firm leadership, and global teams
  • Troubleshoot and escalate risk systems issues (Sentinel, Engage/GRIP) as needed
  • Generate reports for leadership and business stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular Risk Business Systems/RM Online meetings
  • Provide training, support, and documentation maintenance
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Engage professionally with a one-team mindset to deliver an elevated level of service

Acquisition Client Onboarding Lead

  • Primary contact with targets for onboarding client entity data into KPMG risk and engagement systems
  • Guide acquisition contacts in completing onboarding spreadsheets; validate data accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with the Independence team on Sentinel queries and Service Reports
  • Process and upload acquisition data into proprietary systems; follow up on approvals and resolve issues
  • Manage the Sentinel RPA Utility and partner with RPA developers on maintenance
  • Coordinate with Independence, Forensics, CRM, and Sentinel stakeholders to keep onboarding on track
  • Communicate adverse risk findings or concerns to CDO, FRMP, and Sponsoring Partner
  • Complete the KPMG propriety sections of the Data Upload Templates for ServiceNow
  • Administer and manage ServiceNow work queues; ensure timely task completion
  • Support local office and the Risk Delivery Centre teams to ensure compliance with risk processes
  • Attend weekly CDO progress meetings; provide status updates
  • Facilitate hand-off of onboarding to the Risk Delivery Centre team (when required)
  • Provide ongoing ad hoc support (as required)
  • Maintain Acquisition Client Onboarding process guidance

What you bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a primary point of contact for internal risk systems, with a history of promptly responding to and resolving user requests.
  • Direct administration experience with proprietary compliance/risk systems, ensuring adherence to firm and regulatory policies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with subject matter experts, firm leadership, and global stakeholders.
  • Technical troubleshooting and escalation experience with risk systems (e.g., Sentinel, Engage/GRIP), including issue triage and stakeholder coordination.
  • Reporting and analytics capability to generate actionable reports for leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Training delivery and documentation lifecycle management (creation, updates, maintenance). • Flexibility to support ad hoc projects and initiatives across risk and onboarding functions.
  • Service-oriented, collaborative mindset with strong professional communication.
  • Data governance skills: instructing on spreadsheet completion, validating accuracy and completeness, and ensuring data readiness for system upload.
  • Process documentation ownership, including maintaining up-to-date Acquisition Client Onboarding guidance.
  • Experience in the areas of quality control, risk management/compliance would be an asset • Advanced skills with MS Office Products - in particular, Excel
  • Experience with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) utility oversight and collaboration with RPA developers for maintenance and continuous improvement would be an asset.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow, including creating, updating, tracking, and managing work queues and ticket workflows would be an an asset.
  • College diploma or an equivalent combination of education / experience in a professional environment.

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program
