About the role

Position Description

The Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto, in partnership with the Hospital for Sick Children, is seeking a full-time academic pediatric urologist to join the Division of Urology. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide clinical care in pediatric urology, including outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Engage in research activities and contribute to the academic mission of the department.

Qualifications

  • Required:

    • MD or equivalent.
    • Eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
    • Fellowship training in Pediatric Urology.
    • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
  • Preferred:

    • Experience in minimally invasive techniques.
    • A track record of peer-reviewed publications.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. The position is available immediately. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
