About the Junior Paralegal, Regional, opportunity: Title: Junior Paralegal, Regional Reports To: Senior Paralegal, Director Work Type: Hybrid (4 days in office) in South Mississauga & Burlington area Position Summary The Junior Paralegal, Regional supports the Senior Paralegal in the management of Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) matters across a designated portfolio. This role is responsible for preparing and coordinating legal documentation, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting high-volume case management in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006. Working in a fast-paced, multi-residential environment, the Junior Paralegal plays a key role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in all legal processes while developing foundational expertise in tribunal matters. Key Responsibilities LTB Application & Documentation Support Prepare and file Landlord Applications including A2, L1, L2, L4, and L10 Draft, review, and process termination notices (N4, N5, N6, N7, N8) ensuring accuracy and compliance Prepare affidavits, submissions, eviction documentation, and related legal materials Review N4 notices and initiate LTB filings where appropriate Case Management & File Administration Maintain and update legal files, ensuring documentation is complete and audit-ready Track deadlines, hearing dates, and statutory requirements to ensure full compliance Monitor mediated agreements and payment plans; prepare L4 applications upon default Review orders with eviction clauses and prepare enforcement documentation where applicable Hearing Preparation & Support Assist in preparing witnesses and internal stakeholders for hearings Compile and organize evidence packages and supporting documentation Attend LTB hearings as required to support proceedings and take notes Systems & Reporting Update and maintain the Tribunals Ontario Portal with all required documentation Maintain and update Legal Tracking Reports and internal dashboards Support scheduling of hearings and maintain accurate calendars Client & Stakeholder Support Communicate with internal teams (Operations, Property Management) to gather required information Respond to tenant or internal inquiries related to active files, as directed by the Senior Paralegal Support case strategy preparation under guidance General Administration Maintain filing systems, correspondence, and reporting tools Assist with process improvements and standardization efforts Other duties as assigned What you need to succeed: Qualifications & Experience Licensed as Paralegal and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario Minimum 1–3 years of experience in similar role in property management, specifically with Landlord and Tenant Board matters Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 and LTB procedures Experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Exposure to accounts receivable processes (preferred but not required) Ability to travel to attend Tribunal Hearings as required Core Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently Effective verbal and written communication skills Client service orientation with strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while taking direction from senior leadership What’s in it for you?
