About the role

Your Opportunity: The primary responsibility of the position is to provide a full range of senior level administrative duties for the Medical Leadership team of Edmonton Zone Medical Affairs. The role includes drafting formal & informal communications and documents for internal & external stakeholders, preparing and reviewing confidential materials and providing administrative support for various processes & projects in collaboration with coordinators and consultants. Effective project management skills and attributes are critical. Ability to consult with stakeholders, management and staff as required. There is an expectation for a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, and independent judgment/critical thinking skills while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. A demonstrated ability to manage change, flourish in a busy environment, and operate within a team environment is required. The position may include supporting other tasks within the Edmonton Zone Medical Leadership team, as well as potentially other teams within the Edmonton Zone Medical Affairs Department.

Required Qualifications: Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications: The candidate must have at least 5-10 years' experience with senior level administrative support. The candidate must be proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize workloads, work within fixed deadlines, and work closely with other team members. Must be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, flexibility and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
