About the role
The Global Technology Communications Coordinator helps develop and sustain the company’s technology communication framework, ensuring all changes are effectively communicated to end-users across the organization. This position bridges the gap between technical complexity and business understanding, making IT a strategic partner rather than just a service provider.
Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (flexible); Hybrid
In this role, you will:
- Develop and distribute newsletters and communication campaigns highlighting departmental updates and achievements
- Provide clear and timely status updates to project stakeholders on key initiatives, outages, and system changes
- Coordinate IT staff communications, including email notices and outage notifications, ensuring clarity and consistency
- Act as a PR representative for the department through engaging content and effective communication strategies
- Gather feedback and monitor communication effectiveness, recommending and implementing enhancements for continuous improvement
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
- Experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or change communications (2+ years)
- Experience developing communication plans and campaigns from inception to execution
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor tone and style to diverse audiences
- Digital communication experience including email marketing platforms, intranet systems, and collaboration tools (an asset)
- Collaborative and solutions-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills
