About the Role:
We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist for our People Strategy team. The HR Operations Specialist oversees day-to-day administrative and transactional activities related to employee matters, ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency in HR processes and data management within Workday. The successful incumbent will play a key part in auditing data integrity, supporting workforce analytics, and maintaining compliance with human resources guidelines and organizational policies
As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:
- Process and validate HR transactions in Workday, including employee lifecycle events such as new hires, transfers and terminations.
- Providing operational support for People Strategy teams, implementing forward thinking solutions and process improvements to drive organizational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance and provide timely reporting on data validation errors, raising issues to the HRIS team.
- Support workforce analytics, generate reports on workforce trends, turnover, and compliance metrics.
- Assist with payroll, benefits, absence and time tracking reconciliations.
- Support managers and employees’ questions on Workday processes, issues and supporting creation of resources to ensure a smooth employee experience (interpretation of HR Guidelines deployed in Workday).
- Execute complex and sensitive Workday transactions with a high degree of discretion, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurately filed within the system.
- Serve as a key liaison between HRIS and partners in Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to troubleshoot business process issues and escalate systemic concerns to Workday support.
To Succeed, You Bring:
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an HR operations or HR data management role.
- Proficient in the full Workday lifecycle, including transaction processing, reporting, and HR process automation.
- End-to-end Workday management: transaction processing, advanced reporting, and HR process automation.
- Attention to detail with experience in HR data processing, auditing, and compliance reporting.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, effectively manage personnel matters and handle employee requests with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy.
