About the role
This role is focused on creating a concise and engaging product explainer video that demonstrates the user journey on a digital platform connecting homeowners with local craftsmen. The ideal candidate will produce a 1–2 minute video that clearly illustrates how clients can post a job, utilize AI-generated descriptions, select a professional, schedule a visit, and review the service. The video should effectively communicate the platform’s ease of use and efficiency from the customer’s perspective, using either a blend of screen recordings and real-life footage or a fully animated approach.
Deliverables
- Develop a storyboard outlining the user journey from problem identification to service review.
- Capture or source screen recordings and real-life footage as needed to visualize each step.
- Edit and assemble footage into a cohesive, high-quality explainer video (1–2 minutes).
- Integrate clear on-screen instructions and visual cues to enhance viewer understanding.
- Ensure the final video aligns with the platform’s branding and communicates the intended message.
- Deliver the completed video in web-optimized formats suitable for online sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing and production, with a portfolio showcasing explainer or product videos.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Ability to combine screen recordings, real-life footage, and/or animation to create engaging content.
- Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail in visual communication.
- Familiarity with web-based platforms and user experience flows is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Availability for a single project with prompt turnaround.
