Production Planner and SAP Data Support Specialist
Position Overview
- Under the supervision of the Manager, Production Planning, the Production Planner and SAP Data Support Specialist is responsible for daily, weekly and monthly production planning activities and is responsible for maintaining or coordinating the maintenance of business critical SAP data.
- This role has shared activities across multiple teams and will be responsible for indirectly managing expectations and deliverables within the organization.
- The role provides opportunity to work across business lines and make an impact towards supporting operational growth within the company.
Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Creation and execution of shop floor activities including generation of work orders, conversion of planned orders, printing shop papers, goods movements, order confirmation and availability checks.
- Maintain monthly and or weekly production plan for Epoc products.
- Adjust production schedules as needed and ensure accurate and timely information is broadcast.
- Monitor production needs based on output, machine malfunction, experiments, etc.
- Address issues related to manufacturing work orders.
- Ensure proper inventory controls of production order processing and material movements.
SAP Data Support
- Maintain accuracy of supply chain related SAP Master Data (Material Masters, BOM’s, Suppliers & Customers, Work Centers, Routings and other)
- Work with other SHS departments on SAP Item Master creation and maintenance
- Early involvement in NPI processes related to creation of new materials. Ensure timely data integration of NPI materials into standard supply chain process.
- Analyze risk impact of SAP related data or process changes. Work with affected groups on successful change management
General activities
- Participate in or lead continuous process improvement activities in Production Planning related areas.
- Analyze data and prepares analysis, and/or reports, highlighting variances
- Update key metrics for manufacturing support functions
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- College degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, PBI)
- Very good knowledge of SAP system or similar ERP software
- Effective written and verbal communications
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and think outside the box approach
- Execution focused; results oriented attitude
- Ability to operate effectively within a fast paced and dynamic technology and business environment, with aggressive timelines and milestones
- Creative thinker who is interested in challenging the status quo
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams
- Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback
- Self-starter and highly motivated
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in Medical Device, Biotech or Pharma

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $50,500 - Max $93,500
Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
