Position****Summary
The position of Yard/ Shop Labourer is responsible for assisting with shop and yard maintenance, assisting with any shipping/receiving of equipment, operating material handling equipment, and general facility labour tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials with forklifts, or other equipment as trained
-
Maintain Cleanliness and organization of shop and yard areas
-
Assist Shipper to organize MSR orders and load trucks as required
-
Perform simple equipment or tool checks and report any issues for repair
-
Assist with snow removal and general outdoor maintenance
-
Other duties as requested by management
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
-
0 – 5 years industry related experience
-
Experience with machinery and oilfield industry experience is an asset but not required
-
Basic computer knowledge is an asset
-
Strong communication, both verbal and written
-
Ability to work independently at times
-
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tasks
-
Detailed-orientated with a focus on safety and organization
