We are looking for candidates to fill the following position:

Foreman (Plumbing and Piping)

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for a team of 1-12 workers for mechanical and/or plumbing projects;
• Site health and safety officer;
• Participate in mechanical/plumbing work with your tools;
• Respect project schedule and procedures;
• Ensure the quality of work done by the team according to established standards;
• Participation in project and site meetings;
• Be the contact person between the office and the project team;
• Perform any other duties related to this position.

Profile and skills we are looking for

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a construction foreman or project manager;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing and/or mechanical systems;
• Valid CCQ Certificate of Competency;
• Valid driver’s licence;
• Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills;
• Must love and value teamwork
• Work requires good physical fitness;
• Good understanding of plumbing and mechanical engineering specifications;
• Good knowledge of the Building Code;
• Read and interpret plans;
• Be flexible and available as work schedules may vary;
• Basic IT and technology knowledge (working with an iPad, completing and approving time sheets in an ERP system);
• Bilingualism (French, English); an asset
• Gas map; an asset
