Job Description WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Commercial Sales Support Specialist, You Will
- Manage account relationships.
- Create and manage daily customer quotations.
- Negotiate plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.
- Complete order entry, order maintenance, and management of order delivery process.
- Manage weekly bid schedule.
- Prioritize projects and communicates bid date and time, co-coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers.
- Manage quote follow-up process including updating weekly open quote reports, updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors.
- Assist in credit and collection activities.
- Manage the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders.
- Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately, reducing manual overrides and allowances.
- Coordinate and manage quotes and orders within guidelines for residential districts.
Qualifications WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 1 year related experience. Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
- Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
- This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Effective at written and verbal communication.
- Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
