ABOUT THE TEAM

The incumbent will report to the Manager of the Data Quality Management team and will be part of a team responsible for defining and operationalizing governance over PSP’s enterprise data, particularly through the use of internal and corporate tools such as the central data warehouse. The Senior Analyst is responsible to ensure the quality of the data under their responsibility meets the current and future needs of PSP.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Analyst, Data Quality Management, Public Markets Integration and Servicing, you’ll:

  • Support the business by ensuring that it is provided with timely, quality data to base their decisions on
  • Ensure effective and timely internal controls are in place to meet business expectations and requirements on data quality
  • Be available after-hours to address any outstanding or current data issues
  • Address data issues and respond to data or reporting queries
  • Be responsible for the production of reports within the department
  • Participate in defining project specifications as well as being a focal point in any future project tests
  • Work with internal IT teams and external vendors to address data needs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to finance or administration
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Experience in understanding financial management reporting, securities reference data systems and processes, investment products, portfolio management and investment concepts
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg is an asset
  • Bilingualism English and French (Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
