Role Description The Line Cook role at Panago Pizza is a part-time, on-site position located in Surrey, BC. In this role, the Line Cook prepares pizzas and related menu items according to Panago’s recipes and standards, including dough preparation, ingredient portioning, and oven operation. Daily tasks include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time. The Line Cook works closely with the team to support smooth kitchen operations, restocking ingredients, and assisting with inventory rotation. This role contributes directly to a positive customer experience by delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Ability to follow recipes, portion ingredients accurately, and prepare food consistently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling of kitchen equipment. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate respectfully with coworkers and supervisors. Reliable time management, including punctuality, ability to work evening and weekend shifts, and handle multiple tasks at once. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food and service to customers. Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or quick-service environment is an asset but not required; training will be provided. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate lifting as part of regular kitchen duties.
