This Position reports to:

Quality Manager

The holder of this position is looking to develop their skills in quality control, is rigorous and highly attentive to detail, and enjoys working in a structured environment driven by precision, continuous improvement, and product compliance.

They will spend a significant portion of their time in inspection and production areas to ensure that parts and products meet established requirements. The role requires the ability to organize one’s work, a methodical approach, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. Training adapted to their level of experience will be provided to support their professional development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in basic inspection of parts and products.
  • Assist in performing simple tests by following established protocols.
  • Support daily quality control activities, including visual verification or first-level documentation.
  • Contribute to updating quality documents (checklists, non‑conformity reports, forms).
  • Participate in collecting quality‑related data to become familiar with indicators used to assess product compliance.
  • Observe and learn quality best practices, as well as tools used to support continuous improvement.
  • Apply safety rules in all tasks and report any unusual or hazardous situation, with support from the Health & Safety team when needed.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Quality Director.

Your Profile

  • Completed two years of a university or technical program in mechanical, industrial, materials, quality, or production engineering, or any other relevant field.
  • Proficiency in French and comfortable with English (reading technical documents). French is required. English is also required for regular communication with customers outside Quebec.
  • Interest in data analysis and ability to learn how to use simple tracking or reporting tools.
  • Awareness of quality principles (compliance, standards, rigor), even if limited experience is expected.
  • Willingness to understand internal customer needs and contribute to ensuring product quality.
  • Motivated to become familiar with quality processes and the functioning of a quality management system.
  • Possess a basic understanding of technical concepts related to processes, materials, or testing, or motivated to learn them.
  • Able to use common computer tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
