Founded in 1972 by three engineers specialized in electrical failures and fire investigations, CEP Forensic has grown to over 230 professionals across 9 offices throughout Canada. With more than 50 years of experience and over 125,000 cases handled, CEP experts are trusted by insurers or legal professionals to determine the causes of losses and failures in various fields, including Fire Investigation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Biomechanical Engineering, Structural and Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Collision Reconstruction, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and Environmental Science.
Your Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our team of experts by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling reception duties, including, receiving new mandate requests via the CEP website or by phone, posting them in the dispatch system, creating new files in Salesforce, sending confirmation emails to clients.
- Reviewing, formatting, and sending investigation-related documents: (correspondence and technical reports).
- Providing administrative support to investigators and other team members.
- Coordinating and maintaining accurate administrative records for various files.
- Communicating with clients to update file information when needed.
- Monitoring project lifecycles through to billing and closure.
Your Experience
- Office Administration Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Microsoft Word proficiency is essential.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively with frequent interruptions.
- A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented mindset.
- A commitment to providing excellent internal and external customer service.
- Experience with Salesforce is an asset.
