CLINICIAN – NON-REGISTERED.
Eighteen (18) Month Full-time Contract Position in Cochrane.
As a member of the Child and Youth Mental Health team, the Clinician – Non-Registered will provide single sessions, counselling, support and clinical assessments to address identified behavioural, social and emotional needs of children, adolescents (up to eighteen (18) years of age) and their family support systems. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful and innovative, working within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS):
- Minimum B.A. in Psychology (3 years).
- Registered Clinicians that meet the education and registration requirements accepted by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as a Social Worker, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse, the College of Psychologists or the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario are also encouraged to apply. Salary would be determined accordingly.
- Clinical skills in the area of children’s mental health.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Must have a valid Class G driver’s license and use of own vehicle.

L’heureuse candidate ou l’heureux candidat sera une personne qui fera preuve d’initiative, de débrouillardise et d’innovation en travaillant avec une équipe multidisciplinaire dynamique de professionnels ou de professionnelles.
EXIGENCES DE L’EMPLOI (QUALITÉS ET COMPÉTENCES REQUISES):
- Au minimum, doit être titulaire d’un B.A. en psychologie (3 ans).
- Les cliniciennes ou les cliniciens inscrites ou inscrits qui répondre aux exigences d'éducation et aux règles d'enregistrement à l'ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des techniciens en travail social de l’Ontario (OTSTTSO) à titre de travailleur(euse) social(e), de l’Ordre des psychothérapeutes autorisés de l’Ontario (OPAO), de l'Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers de l'Ontario à titre d’infirmier(ère) autorisée, de l'Ordre des psychologues de l'Ontario ou de l'Ordre des ergothérapeutes de l'Ontario, sont également encourager a appliqué. Le salaire serait déterminé en conséquence.
- Compétences cliniques dans le domaine de la santé mentale des enfants.
- Capacité de travailler avec efficacité et en collaboration avec d’autres professionnelles et professionnels.

- Le bilinguisme (anglais/français) est un atout.

Our client-responsive programs and services are innovative, evidence-based, and designed to meet the unique needs of those we serve.
