About the role

Job Title: Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Onsite (hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Domain: BFSI Pay Rate: CAD 60-65/hour Incorporated Application Deadline: July 17th, 2026

SKILLS REQUIRED Mandatory Skills: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway. Administer and optimize Azure PaaS services such as App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Service Bus. Configure and troubleshoot Private Endpoints, Private DNS Zones, VNet Peering, and secure hybrid cloud connectivity. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates for automated cloud deployments. Implement cloud monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspaces, Alerts, and Diagnostic Settings. Support cloud migration initiatives including rehost, replatform, and refactor while ensuring security, governance, and compliance. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate infrastructure deployment and application delivery. Collaborate with network, security, and operations teams to implement Azure Policies, UDRs, NSGs, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and maintain technical documentation.
