Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Casual Scale Attendant at our Calgary District. Rate: 20.00/hour

Responsibilities Our priority is to make sure we hire safe individuals that care about the service provided to the community. As a Casual Scale Attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Operate the weigh-station scale
- Entering appropriate data into computer (product, weight, customer name, etc.)
- Communicate with drivers, through speaker system, to determine type of material being dumped, etc.
- Process payment from customers, as needed
- There is no set schedule or guaranteed hours for this casual position.
What We Need From You
- Good data entry skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Position may be required overtime work depending on business need
- Heavy equipment experience would be an asset, but not required
