About the role

Moose Jaw Co-op is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team in Moose Jaw, SK.

As a Pharmacy Technician you will provide safe, courteous, efficient, and customer-focused service in the Pharmacy. Responsibilities include:

  • As a brand ambassador, you will live the Co-op brand everyday through our guiding statements and our values of excellence, trustworthy, community, and people first.
  • Consistently provide information, assistance, and outstanding service to all customers to build and maintain relationships.
  • Assist in filling prescriptions under Pharmacist supervision.
  • Be aware of and abide by all regulations and policies regarding control, safekeeping, and sale of drugs, return and/or disposal of outdated dispensary stock.
  • Assist with inventory movement, ordering prescription, and over the counter products.
  • Remain diligently alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • You have a Pharmacy Technician Certification from a recognized institution.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage a prescription from intake to Pharmacist’s signoff.
  • You have previous related pharmacy and/or pharmacy automation systems experience (asset).
  • You are capable of demonstrating worksite mobility, including lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate high morals and business ethics.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • You are available to work weekdays as well as weekends.
