Red Robin Kamloops is hiring a General Manager for our re-opening.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for all aspects of restaurant performance—from building and developing your team to driving sales, managing costs, and delivering a strong guest experience.

Compensation & Benefits

What You’ll Own

Team Leadership

  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of 75–100 team members
  • Build and maintain a strong leadership bench (Shift Leaders, Managers)
  • Drive a culture of accountability, performance, and engagement

Operations

  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations
  • Ensure execution of food quality, service standards, and cleanliness
  • Lead from the floor in a high-volume environment

Financial Performance

  • Own P&L performance, including labour, food cost, and inventory
  • Drive sales growth through execution and local initiatives
  • Manage scheduling, forecasting, and cost controls

Guest Experience

  • Ensure consistent, high-level hospitality
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Build a restaurant guests return to regularly

Community & Marketing

  • Lead local restaurant marketing and community engagement
  • Build presence within the local market to drive traffic

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experience
  • Experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive results
  • Strong financial and operational understanding
  • A hands-on leadership style and ability to lead from the floor
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Financial & Business Acumen
    Strong understanding of P&L, labour management, food cost, inventory, and sales performance. You make decisions that drive profitability.
  • Operational Execution
    Experienced in scheduling, forecasting, food quality standards, and health & safety compliance. You run a tight operation.
  • Guest-Focused Leadership
    You understand how to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences and build repeat business.
  • Decision-Making & Accountability
    You’re comfortable making decisions in real time, taking ownership of outcomes, and leading through pressure.
  • Consistency & Standards
    You hold yourself and your team accountable to high standards across food, service, and cleanliness.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment
  • A track record of improving sales and operational performance
