As the National Sales Manager, Inside Sales you will be responsible for the coaching, management, execution and monitoring of direct sales activity for all Associate Sales Directors, regardless of channel forivari. You will work closely with the AVP, Inside Sales & Distribution Technology, who is responsible for communicating the corporate sales strategies and direction for the achievement of sales objectives and efficiencies.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Directly manage the Associate Sales Directors with their day to day needs and tasks
  • Provide direction and expertise to the Associate Sales Directors, training and directing the team, developing their knowledge base and sales ability by frequent coaching interactions
  • Forecast future skill/knowledge requirements and recommend plans for employee growth & development
  • Provide feedback and performance reviews to the Associate Sales Directors, including tracking and measuring results of tactics and ensuring results align with their goals
  • Act as the escalation point for staff, resolving any conflicts or issues
  • Balance workloads, coordinate attendance and activity logging to maintain adequate staffing requirements during required business hours, and conduct regular team meetings
  • Provide updates and recommendations to the Assistant Vice President on the status of the Associate Sales Directors’ development and activities
  • Manage quality control of calls and information being sent by the Associate Sales Directors
  • Oversee expense management for all support staff related activities
  • Directly manage Associate Sales Directors on the implementation of sales strategies
  • Work within Salesforce to develop and implement ways to improve the efficiency of the sales team’s workflow, campaigns, business intelligence
  • Initiate, develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal business partners

What we are looking for…

  • Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, accreditation, etc.) that would align with the position
  • Thorough knowledge of sales, ideally in the insurance industry, with 5 to 7 years of direct sales experience either as a Sales Director (outside sales) or inside sales
  • An in-depth knowledge of life products and market competition
  • Insurance Licensing (LLQP), CFP or CLU are good to have.
  • Proven ability to manage; ability to get people moving towards a specific task
  • Possess leadership skills and the ability to work with a team
  • Proven ability to seek and identify new business opportunities and to build on existing business
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Thorough knowledge of Salesforce and how it can be used to create efficiencies within the sales process
  • Proven problem solving, customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to meet challenges, goals and objectives with enthusiasm, drive, and initiative.
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships, focus on common goals and implement integrated solutions.
  • Proven ability to help other people make the most of their abilities and recognize their full potential

What****we pay…

$96,000 - $132,000 + a competitive sales bonus target paid out on a quarterly basis.
