Overview The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is currently seeking an energetic and collaborative individual to join our team as a Co-op Student in the Information Technology department.

The Information Technology department is responsible for all aspects of information technology strategies and plans as well as other technology services such as system infrastructure, cyber security and client support.

Responsibilities You will have the opportunity to gain experience in a broad range of areas, including:

  • Supporting day-to-day operations by providing support through our help desk.
  • Collaborating on ongoing projects related to business applications, infrastructure, cyber security, and AI.
  • Developing SharePoint sites, Power Apps workflows, Forms, and more.
  • Creating reports using a variety of tools, including Python, R, Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, PowerQuery, Excel, and VBA.
  • Working in domains such as database management, access management, asset management, network management, and systems administration.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a recognized post-secondary program.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), and Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Forms, Lists, and SharePoint..
