Job Description

As a key contributor the Basketball Sales Team, the Account Executive, Sales is responsible for driving revenue through the acquisition of new Toronto Raptors and Raptors 905 ticket accounts, including season seats, partial packs, and premium inventory such as courtside seating. In addition, this role provides support for select group sales initiatives to help maximize overall ticketing business at Scotiabank Arena and Paramount Fine Foods Centre.

In this role, you’ll play an active role in identifying and closing new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective and returning clients and delivering tailored experiences through outbound sales efforts and game-day hosting.

  • Be a dependable and collaborative teammate, contributing to a positive and high-energy sales environment by sharing ideas, supporting peers, and working collectively toward team goals.

  • Proactively generate new leads and business opportunities by prospecting through high-volume outreach and relationship-building.

  • Exceed sales goals for new business across season seats, partial packs, and premium ticket inventory through outbound prospecting, in-person appointments, and tailored proposals.

  • Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives by identifying new industries, verticals, and market segments to expand the ticket member base.

  • Provide world-class service to prospective clients — cultivating long-term relationships and ensuring each touchpoint reflects a premium, fan-first experience.

  • Support the execution of select group sales events and activations as needed — collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality fan experiences.

  • Represent the organization externally at networking events, community functions, and industry conferences to generate new business opportunities and enhance brand presence.

  • Actively participate in team meetings and planning sessions, offering feedback and contributing ideas that support sales campaigns and revenue growth strategies.

  • Support the development and upkeep of sales materials and outreach tools, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and effective across new business efforts.

  • Maintain a strong, professional presence during high-volume periods, staying focused, adaptable, and committed to team success in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Confident user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • TicketMaster and/or ARCHTICS knowledge is an asset but not crucial.

  • Salesforce knowledge would be an asset.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in developing sales and service relationships.

  • Demonstrate a self-starter mindset, consistently bringing energy, focus, and resilience to each workday, especially in a fast-paced, high-pressure sales environment.

  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required .

  • Displays confidence and ability to make sales calls.

  • Consistent record of building and developing professional relationships.

  • Strategic at listening, understanding, and presenting in detail.

  • Willingness to mentor and be coached with the bravery to try new things and learn from the results.

  • Highly motivated individuals with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.

  • Shown to perform well under timelines; prioritize simultaneously.

  • Confident user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  • TicketMaster and/or ARCHTICS knowledge is an asset but not crucial.

  • Salesforce knowledge would be an asset.
