About the role

40-hour compressed workweek

  • Day Shift (Monday to Friday):

Regular 5-day workweek (Monday to Friday), or a compressed 4-day schedule of

10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday).

Multiple schedule options are available, offering flexibility in start times

(between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.) and corresponding end times.

  • Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday):

Monday to Thursday, from 3:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

Hourly wage ranging from $26.53/hour to $37.21/hour and Evening shift

premium: $1.75/hour

Contributing to this role means

  • Ensuring proper machine operation and calibration;
  • Checking material for surface or structural anomalies;
  • Marking and identifying material as required: profiles, ID, dimensions, programs, division no., etc.
  • Follow plant and machine safety procedures;
  • Record work progress in internal system
  • Carry out daily maintenance according to procedure;
  • Perform bending operations according to drawings;
  • Select appropriate bending dies;
  • Handle loads using overhead crane or hoist;
  • Classify, organize and identify parts by division;
  • Any other related task.

What are we looking for

  • Relevant experience in CNC machine or press brake operation in the steel industry.
  • Relevant experience operating CNC machines or press brakes in the steel industry;
  • Vocational diploma in machining (Machinist) (D.E.P.); AND/OR
  • Vocational diploma (D.EP.) in precision sheet metal work;
  • Autonomy, manual dexterity, adaptability, initiative, organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
