Title: CEO Associate Location: Vancouver Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

The Mission Increase the effectiveness of the CEO and accelerate EBITDA producing initiatives across JD Canada through AI, analytics, research, project management, and executive support.

This person will drive results across the following key pillars:

Growth Achieve the successful opening of new stores. Ensure a faster ramp-up of new locations.

Productivity Improve conversion and UPT Improve labour productivity. Increase reporting and forecasting accuracy. Reduce administrative work across the organization.

Profitability Improve inventory productivity. Improve markdown management. Support apparel category growth.

Organizational Scale Enable growth without proportional headcount increases. Create repeatable systems and processes. Implement AI-driven workflows.

Executive Effectiveness & Accountability Enable better and faster decision-making. Ensure better-prepared meetings and stronger follow-through. Track commitments made by the executive team. Maintain a CEO priority list and status dashboard. Follow up with direct reports on agreed actions and deadlines. Escalate risks, delays, and missed commitments. Prepare weekly summaries of progress against key initiatives. Ensure cross-functional projects continue moving between leadership meetings. Act as the "single source of truth" for strategic initiatives and ownership.

Requirements Must Haves Sharp, agile thinker who can connect the dots quickly Exceptional written communication Naturally curious Strong analytical ability AI-native mindset Reliable and self-directed Comfortable working directly with CEO

Nice to Haves Education or equivalent experience within: business, engineering, computer science or economics Familiarity with data analytics and reporting
