Role: Quality Engineer

Seeking a Senior Test Management professional with 4 to 6 years of experience to lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies ensuring software quality and reliability
Job Description
Develop and implement detailed test plans to validate software functionality and performance Manage the overall test lifecycle including planning execution and defect tracking Utilize test management tools to organize and monitor testing activities Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios Perform defect management to identify document and track issues through resolution Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process Support User Acceptance Testing UAT by coordinating with business stakeholders Conduct API and Microservices testing using RestAssured to validate service integrations Execute SQL and database testing to verify data integrity and backend processes
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead test planning sessions and define scope objectives and deliverables Oversee test execution ensuring timely completion and quality of test cases Monitor defect lifecycle and work closely with development teams for prompt resolution Mentor and guide junior testers in test management best practices Facilitate communication between testing teams and other stakeholders Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage and quality metrics Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities and support endusers during validation Validate APIs and microservices functionality using automated and manual testing techniques Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries to ensure accuracy
