PR 203: Media Relations

Course Description:
Students will learn how to navigate all contemporary forms of media and the complexities around traditional, social and online media. This course also provides a comprehensive analysis of the media and the development of skills to accommodate the needs of different media and stakeholders.

Position Requirements

We are looking for a sessional lecturer with the following: Master’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications preferred. Accreditation with CPRS and/or IABC an asset. Online teaching experience and a familiarity with UR Courses an asset. This course will be delivered in an asynchronous, online format.

Redevelopment of the PR 203 online course and a targeted delivery of the course for the 2026 Fall term
