About the role
Description OEM Accessories Account Manager (Field): HELM is now hiring for OEM Accessories Account Managers across in key metro markets throughout the United States! This position is responsible for growing the sales, penetration and loyalty of customization parts and accessories with dealerships and wholesale accounts in assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Increase sales, loyalty and utilization of Customization products to achieve revenue goals and increase Per New Unit Retail (PNUR).
- Serve as Customization product specialist for dealer personnel and field personnel.
- Execute product and sales process training within dealerships to increase offerings and customer presentations by the sales and finance department.
- Consult with dealerships on new vehicle ordering to maximize Customization penetration through various application methods (in-plant, custom garage and dealer installed)
- Support Customization event activation as requested.
- Implement Customization displays and vehicle builds at assigned dealerships.
- Increase dealer participation and sales through accessory e-commerce channels.
- Increase Customization wholesale penetration through independent accessory installers and wholesale distributors.
- Provide feedback to Customization corporate team regarding product, pricing and incentive opportunities to increase sales.
Requirements Preferred Background / Experience:
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is strongly preferred.
- Seeking automotive enthusiasts with experience in account development.
- Dealership sales or accessory / customization sales.
- Brand and product representation / training.
- Sales and process training / improvement.
- Off-roading knowledge is a plus.
- Looking for ex-dealership sales personnel.
- Experienced sales / field reps working for companies like AEV, Fox, Teraflex, Warn, ARB 4x4 Accessories, AutoZone, O’Reilly’s, NAPA, CarQuest, FabTech, GM, Ford, Toyota, etc. Any other Automotive Brands.
Location: Field – Various locations through metro markets of the US
Travel: 90% daily travel with some overnight travel required depending on assigned market.
