Description: The successful candidate will play a key role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. Experience in project management, project design and construction contract administration in the following areas of practice is desired: Hydropower development, water management, irrigation development, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines and river engineering.
The applicant must be self-motivated and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities include: staff coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists, preparing planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, performing general supervision duties, and working closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an applicable technical degree and be registered with a Canadian Engineering Association. Preference will be given to applicants with 8 years or more experience.
