About the role
Who you are
- 3-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on GTM and/or operational roles, ideally at startups or high-growth companies
- Commercial recruiting expertise - You've successfully recruited across sales, customer success, marketing, or other revenue-generating functions. You understand how to assess sales talent, what makes a great AE vs. SDR, and how to source for quota-carrying roles
- Operational recruiting fluency - You've hired for finance, operations, people ops, or other business-critical operational roles. You know how to find exceptional operators and understand the difference between startup ops generalists and scaled-company specialists
- Startup DNA - You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you're building systems from scratch and adapting quickly. You're comfortable with high-volume hiring while maintaining quality
- Sourcing creativity - You're skilled at discovering talent through diverse channels—LinkedIn, communities, events, referrals, creative outreach. You know how to engage passive candidates and get them excited about new opportunities
- Strategic mindset - You balance speed with quality, anticipate roadblocks proactively, and advise hiring managers on market trends, compensation positioning, and talent availability
- Data-driven approach - You track meaningful metrics, use data to optimize your process, and can forecast pipeline health and hiring timelines
- Outstanding communication skills - You deliver high-quality recruiting experiences while respecting candidates' and hiring managers' time. You're a collaborative team player comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Commitment to inclusive hiring - You're passionate about building diverse teams and have experience implementing strategies to source and engage candidates from all backgrounds
- Process-building mindset - You're comfortable working in a modern ATS (we use Ashby), and you've helped build or refine recruiting processes, interview frameworks, or candidate experience programs
- Experience recruiting for highly technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architects, technical Customer Experience roles, Sales Engineers)
- Hands-on experience with Ashby or other modern ATS platforms
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- In-house startup experience at Series A-C stage companies
- Strong network in GTM and operational communities (sales, marketing, finance, ops)
- Experience recruiting for fintech, SaaS, or B2B software companies
- Previous experience recruiting across multiple GTM specializations (inside sales, field sales, partnerships, customer success, etc.)
- Experience building referral programs or hiring manager enablement resources
- Track record of high offer acceptance rates and strong candidate NPS
