Who we are:
Raylec Power (Alberta) LP has delivered roadway electrical services across Central and Southern Alberta since 2013. We maintain highway electrical assets for Alberta Transportation and municipal infrastructure, including luminaires and signalized intersections.

What you bring:
- Safety conscious with a willingness to learn and practice safe work habits
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract (Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement preferred)
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Civil Works and two (2) years’ supervisory experience
- Competency operating machinery such as mini-excavators, digger derricks, skid steers, backhoes, etc.
- Skilled in interpreting construction drawings for traffic signals, roadway lighting, and shallow utilities
- Proven team player and outstanding communicator
This role involves a range of job duties, which include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee job preparation and execution, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget compliance
- Conduct site visits prior to construction
- Ensure all forms, permits, and documentation are available on site
Plan daily schedules to optimize labour, equipment, and materials
Participate in staffing/scheduling meetings with the Superintendent and management
Maintain a safe and secure work environment
Ensure operations meet quality standards outlined in project specifications
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors
Clearly convey responsibilities and tasks to the crew
Provide skills training to ensure crew competency
Ensure subcontractors meet project requirements and expectations
