The Junior Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment, and devices within our plant. Under the guidance of the Manager, you will assist in various aspects of project management, design, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment and adherence to industry standards.

- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, equipment, and devices.
- Aid in creating detailed designs, specifications, and drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Participate in the testing and analysis of mechanical systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Support various change initiatives of design implementation.
- Assist and support multiple projects.
- Support cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and safety to ensure alignment with plant objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting efforts to address mechanical issues and ensure the continuous operation of plant equipment.
- Ensure that all designs and processes comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
- 1+ years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Experience working directly on equipment in a manufacturing environment an asset.
- Proficient and experienced in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, testing and validation.
- Proven project management experience.
- Self-starter with strong eagerness to grow and develop.
- Independent with minimal supervision to accomplish assignments.
- Works well in team environment, collaborative and innovative.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and effective prioritizing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Willingness to learn the business.

Working Conditions while performing the job:
- Duties are performed both in the office and in a shop environment, outdoors in yards and at plants.
- Exposure to weather elements.
Expected Salary:$55,000 - $70,000 / year
The salary range shown above reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidate’s experience, education, training, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
