About the Role

As an HR Systems Consultant, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing a variety of on-line cloud-based, digital systems in support of providing a best-in-class people experience for all Southlake Health employees. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with our mission to provide exceptional care close to home. You’ll collaborate closely with our current HR Systems Consultant to ensure data integrity and seamless processes, all while contributing to Southlake’s ongoing digital transformation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and manage system configurations that align with our HR programs and operational needs.
  • Analyze system gap analysis to identify opportunities for system and process improvements that benefit everyone.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing system performance, workflows, and data accuracy.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the current HRIS Consultant to ensure service sustainability and seek innovative solutions to ongoing operational needs.
  • Support configuration, testing, and validation for various HRIS, ATS and Learning systems.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of configuration changes and adhere to established change control processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Partner with People Culture & Experience (PCEx) team members to ensure our systems support our HR and organizational objectives.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and training to end users on HRIS, ATS and Learning system functionalities.
  • Act as a bridge between HR, IT, and vendors to address issues, implement updates, and enhance system performance.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing of new functionalities, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that support People Culture & Experience (PCEx) operations, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance system utilization, process efficiency, and data quality.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new modules or system enhancements.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Information Systems. Equivalent experience and/or education will be considered.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR systems administration or configuration, ideally with UKG, Workday and learning management systems.
  • Experience in supporting HR business processes, data management, and system optimization.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or public sector environments is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data governance.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in UKG and/or Workday configuration, reporting, and data management or similar systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
