Job Description We currently have a co-op opportunity for our System Integration & Verification team within the Land and Joint Solutions Area. As part of the team and under supervision you will work within a system integration team of 10-15 testers, performing integration and verification of software intended for use in military headquarters for planning, deployment, and battle management. This will include assisting the team in the testing of software ranging from device level firmware to user interfaces being developed for the Land Command Support System.
The responsibilities and range of activities will vary, but in general will include:
- Assist with the review of subsystem and product requirements specifications, interface control documents, design documents and use cases.
- Develop and execute product integration and verification test procedures of various scope and complexity based on provided product level designs.
- Analyze, interpret and document test results and develop product integration and verification test reports.
- Identify, investigate and document defects, and verify solutions.
- Generate, maintain and improve lab scripts for automated testing.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable scientific discipline is required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, problem solving and analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Enthusiastic contributor, willing to learn new skills, and takes pride and ownership of work.
It is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.
