About The Role
We are seeking a hands-on and engaged Material Handler. This individual supports the daily operations of the manufacturing Parts Department and is solely focused on the receiving and distribution of Production materials in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
What You’ll Do
Load & unload delivery trucks Receive, locate & stock material Tracking production back-order parts list Location changes and labeling Assist in daily inventory reporting & cycle counts Delivery of material to required areas within the production facility Checks materials and supplies and reports when stock is low Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes Ensure incoming material is received in a timely manner including entering the receipts and investigating packing slip discrepancies Must be aware and follow all company safety policies and procedures Marking the purchase order number on required material Moving and issuing KANBAN parts to production team Ensure all MTR’s are accurate and are delivered to the Engineering Lead Maintain a safe, clean and efficient working area Provide back up for Supervisor when necessary May be required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Other duties as assigned

Position Details
Location - Edmonton, Alberta
Status – Permanent, Full-time
Position Type –Hourly – non-exempt. Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable Alberta employment standards legislation and Company policy.
Schedule - Monday-Friday - occasional extended hours may be required based on operational needs.

What You Bring
Experience in a related Shipping/Receiving position Valid forklift/counterbalance certification and ability to maintain certification. Proficient in Windows & Outlook systems Knowledge of heavy equipment parts is considered an asset Works well independently and willing to assist others whenever required
Additional Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Stand and walk for extended periods. Perform repetitive bending, lifting, reaching, and carrying. Operate material handling equipment safely.
