Quran School Supervisor Duties
Administrative & Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of the Quran school and ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise Quran teachers, assistants, and volunteers, providing guidance and support.
- Prepare teaching schedules, assign classes, and manage staff timetables.
- Monitor student attendance, registration, and class allocations.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, curriculum guidelines, and Islamic values.
Curriculum & Instruction
- Implement and supervise the Quran curriculum (recitation, tajweed, memorization, tafsir, Islamic studies).
- Provide teachers with resources, lesson planning guidance, and professional development.
- Regularly evaluate teaching methods and suggest improvements.
- Organize Quran revision programs, competitions, and assessments.
Student Progress & Evaluation
- Monitor student learning, memorization progress, and tajweed application.
- Conduct assessments, exams, and progress reports for students.
- Meet with parents to discuss student performance and provide recommendations.
- Encourage student motivation through recognition, rewards, and Islamic manners.
Community & Communication
- Act as the liaison between school administration, teachers, parents, and students.
- Communicate clearly with parents about school updates, events, and student performance.
- Foster a positive and respectful Islamic environment for learning.
- Organize parent meetings, orientations, and workshops.
Events & Programs
- Plan and oversee Quran-related events (competitions, graduation ceremonies, special programs in Ramadan, etc.).
- Arrange guest speakers, scholars, and special learning opportunities.
- Ensure safety and discipline during field trips, events, and school activities.
Quality Assurance & Development
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate student and staff records.
- Develop and implement school improvement plans.
- Stay updated with best practices in Quranic and Islamic education.
