Job Title Manager, Finance Systems

Position Overview As Manager, Finance Systems at Canada Goose, you will be responsible for driving the strategic development, enhancement, and oversight of our financial planning and reporting platforms, with a primary focus on Anaplan. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure our systems effectively enable accurate forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What You'll Do Anaplan Ownership & Development

  • Lead the design, build, and maintenance of Anaplan models, modules, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Manage Anaplan data integrations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data flows.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Anaplan solutions.
  • Oversee model governance, version control, and documentation.

System Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute a roadmap for finance systems aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with internal controls and external regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Finance leadership on continuous improvement of financial processes (budgeting/forecasting, management reporting,etc)
  • Provide training and support to end-users, fostering adoption and proficiency in financial systems.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools using Anaplan and Power BI.
  • Ensure data integrity through rigorous reconciliation and validation processes.
  • Assist in month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.

Team Leadership & Project Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance systems analysts and application engineers.
  • Manage projects using agile or waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Let's Talk About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems management, with 3+ years in Anaplan model building and administration.
  • Experience in data analysis, data management, or related fields.
  • Experience of integrating financial systems (TM1, Hyperion, SAP, D365, Anaplan etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ETL tools Alteryx, KNIME (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Sage, MS Dynamics).
  • Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
