JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Math or Science, Bachelor of Education
The Ideal Candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:
- Knowledge of teaching math and science at the junior high school level
- Ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
- A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
- Effective organization skills and classroom management.
- Ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.
- A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
- Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant.
