About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Courier Dock Sorter / Relief Courier Driver to join our team. This hybrid role is primarily focused on dock sorting operations, with driving responsibilities assigned as needed. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and possess a solid understanding of local geography.
What You'll Do:
Dock Sorting
- Lead dock sorting operations with minimal supervision.
- Accurately sort and scan packages using handheld devices.
- Ensure timely and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area.
Courier Driving
- Provide driving support on an as-needed basis.
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow designated routes and safety protocols.
What You'll Need:
- Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
- Experience using scanners or similar handheld devices.
- Knowledge of local geography is a significant asset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in logistics or courier services is preferred.
