What You’ll Do: Backing up the truck to bay door or loading dock and removing once loaded. Complete truck inspections and various checklists throughout the shift. Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to supervisor via truck inspection reports. Moving equipment between various Kawartha Dairy locations. Identify vehicles that require cleaning and carry out truck washing as required. Refueling of vehicles and logging mileage information once vehicles are returned. Start and end each day in Bobcaygeon, Ontario! What You Need to Get the Job Done: High school education or GED preferred, or a combination of education and experience. Minimum one year AZ of verifiable driving experience, within a yard or on the road. Valid AZ license. Equipped to couple and uncouple multiple trucks and trailers during shift. Must have a clean driver abstract. Must be in good physical condition and enjoy manual work; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Meet the physical requirements of the position. Flexibility to work extended days to ensure products are delivered and work some Saturdays and holidays as applicable. Ability to safely deliver in all seasonal weather conditions.
