**Position:**Mechanic / Welder

**Location:**Allen & Bolack Excavating

**Start:**As soon as possible

**Wage:**TBD – Based on Experience

**Hours of Work:**50 hours/week

Position Description:

This position will be part of a team that is responsible for the repair and maintenance of a fleet of Heavy Equipment. You will work closely with the Shop Manager to troubleshoot, determine parts required and complete repairs.

Skills & Abilities:

• Complete repairs on heavy construction equipment

• Assess mechanical problems, identify solutions and complete repairs

• Effectively communicate with co-workers

• Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing needs and take direction

• Responsible and reliable

• Work independently, as well as a team

• Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)

Experience & Education:

-Minimum of 5 years experience****working in a mechanical environment -Minimum of 3 years experience welding

• Air Conditioning Certification preferred

• Valid Driver’s License
