Job Description On behalf of our Healthcare Client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer for a remote contract for their website redesign and brand evolution.
Services Required
- Design the full engagement process in Phase I (identify key informants, co-create plan, run group discussions, interviews, surveys, debriefs)
- Thoroughly review the 2024 discovery report and propose any gap-filling activities in Phase II
- Lead development and presentation of: information architecture, navigation structure, UX templates, content plan, website feature list, and 3–6 sample webpage designs
- Incorporate all stakeholder feedback and obtain brand/website sign-off
- Build the full front-end + back-end website (bccsu.ca + two microsites), conduct user testing, and deliver the SEO plan in Phase III
- Handle technical migration, CMS setup, client training on CMS + analytics, full launch, and 60-day post-launch support in Phase IV
Experience Required
- 8+ years delivering end-to-end website redesigns for health, research, or public-sector organizations (including stakeholder facilitation, UX strategy, and technical build)
- Expert-level WordPress development (custom themes, Gutenberg/ACF blocks, multisite if needed, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, technical SEO, migration expertise)
- Proven track record facilitating virtual stakeholder sessions with diverse audiences (clinicians, policymakers, people with lived experience)
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, SEO tools, and user-testing platforms
- Previous BC or Canadian public-health client work is highly preferred
